We’re delighted to announce the release of Netsparker Enterprise On-Premises 2.0.2. The highlights of this release are Authentication Profile, issues tagging, Scan Group notification, and three new out-of-the-box integrations.

We have also added new security checks, improvements, and fixes.

Authentication Profiles

Netsparker lets you save a custom script for form authentication and utilize this profile on many scans without explicitly configuring Form Authentication. 

When you save an authentication profile and instruct Netsparker to use it, the scanner automates the authentication when it matches the URL at the beginning of the crawling process. So, you do not have to configure form authentication for websites utilizing the same authentication procedure.

Tagging issues

Netsparker lets you tag issues so you can give additional context or group similar issues for easy viewing. You can group, organize, and filter issues on a website. If you have many issues to deal with, tagging will help you to group these issues.

Scan Group notification

Netsparker lets you create a scan group notification. A scan group helps you distinguish among the result of scans with different preferences although these scans are related to the same host/domain name. So, you can view relevant dashboards, issue trends, etc. based on the scan group you selected. You can now also create a notification based on a scan group.

GitHub Actions, UrbanCode Deploy, and Azure Pipeline Extensions

Netsparker now supports three more integration: GitHub Actions, UrbanCode Deploy, and the Extensions for Azure Pipeline.

• GitHub Actions CI/CD lets you automate tasks within your software development life cycle. As GitHub Actions are event-driven, you can run a series of commands after a specified event has occurred. For further information, see Integrating Netsparker Enterprise with GitHub Actions.

• You can use UrbanCode Deploy to automate application developments. It provides continuous delivery, audit trails, versioning, and approvals needed in production. For further information, see Integrating Netsparker Enterprise with UrbanCode Deploy.

• Netsparker has been supporting the integration with Azure Pipelines. You could have done this by using cURL or PowerShell scripts generated by our Integration Script Generator. With this update, you can use the Extension for Azure Pipelines. For further information, see Netsparker Enterprise Extension.
